Privacy Policy
Perio Health Institute Japan (hereby known as “The Company”) has an established protection policy for personal information. All members of The Company’s staff have been trained to understand the importance of your personal information, and to maintain its privacy.
Regulatory Compliance
The Company will follow all national legislation related to the handling of personal information.
Intended Use of Personal Data
The Company will use the client’s personal information solely for the following purposes.
・As a response to the same client’s inquiries;
・As part of The Company’s user registration process;
・To provide information on The Company’s seminars etc.;
・As part of surveys regarding The Company’s services;
・As part of The Company’s Process Improvement;
・To create materials for analytical purposes (i.e. usage trends etc.);
・As a response to violations against our company policies (hereby known as “Our Policies”);
・To notify clients of changes to Our Policies
Personal Information Management
The Company makes use of a number of preventive measures including regular security system maintenance, regular management system maintenance and thorough employee education in order to ensure that the client’s personal information is accurate and up-to-date and is not subjected to unauthorized access, loss, corruption, tampering, leaking etc. However, it should be understood that The Company does not claim that its preventive measures are perfect, and does not guarantee with certainty that the clients’ personal information will not be subjected to unauthorized access, loss, corruption, tampering, leaking etc.
Third Parties
The Company may provide the clients’ personal information to sponsors of its services, wholesalers of its products, subcontractors, and affiliated businesses.
The Company will only provide the clients’ personal information to the above parties with the clients’ consent, and will legally bind the above parties to appropriate handling of the clients’ personal information. Outside of these circumstances, we will not provide the clients’ personal information to any other parties (non-Japanese institutions included) except under the following cases.
・The client has approved the information to be shared;
・Disclosing the information to a third-party is essential to the completion of the service provided to the client;
・The Company is legally obligated to disclose the information
Client Inquiries
If the client wishes to make inquires, amendments or delete their personal information, The Company will comply with their demands once the clients’ identity has been confirmed. However, the company is not obligated to disclose any information if it goes gainst any legislation regarding the protection of personal information.
Privacy Policy Updates
The Company will keep its privacy policy updated to meet the standards of Japanese law. However, in regards to policy changes that legally require the consent of the client, only clients that have consented to the changes will be affected by the corresponding revisions. Furthermore, when policy changes have been made, The Company will inform the client of the policy changes and effective date through website updates or other appropriate measures.
